This Privacy Policy explains how JJChat ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the JJChat mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Phone number — used to create and sign in to your account (via OTP).
• Profile details — the name, age, gender, language, interests and avatar colour you provide.
• Content you create — chat messages, and voice/video call activity (calls are carried over a real‑time service; we do not record call audio or video).
• In-app activity — coins you earn by watching ads, and gifts you send or receive. Coins are free, have no cash value and cannot be bought or withdrawn.
• Usage & device data — basic app activity, online status, and diagnostic information needed to run the service.

2. How we use your information

• To create your account and let you chat, call and meet other users.
• To run in-app coins (earned from ads), gifts and referral rewards.
• To show relevant people, and to keep the community safe (block/report, age checks).
• To send you notifications about messages and calls.
• To prevent abuse, fraud and misuse.

3. Services we use (third parties)

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, notifications and hosting.
• Agora — voice and video call connectivity.
• Google AdMob — serves the rewarded ads you watch to earn free coins (uses an advertising ID).

These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your display name and profile details are visible to other users. Your phone number is kept private and is not shown to other users. We may share information with the service providers above, or when required by law.

5. Your choices & account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the App. Deleting your account removes your profile, wallet, messages and sign‑in from our systems. You can also request deletion by emailing us at the address below.

6. Children

JJChat is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone under 18.

7. Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. We use industry‑standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
